Keeping busy...

Many of you might be wondering what it is Maisie and I do to keep busy during the day. Well, let me tell you, we have quite the set of activities. Here are some of Maisie's favorites:

Hanging out on the couch, sucking our thumbs. Maisie found her thumb early, but cannot successfully get it in her mouth every time she wants it yet. On this day she succeeded and happily sat there for a good 20 minutes!

Bouncing in the "bouncy chair". Maisie isn't really all that interested in the animal toys or even the music, but she does like to watch the world from this position.

Lounging in the Boppy pillow.

Tummy time. She's supposed to spend a few minutes each day on her belly (to encourage those neck and shoulder muscles). Mandy always likes to check out what's going on when Maisie is down on her level. And Maisie, well, she doesn't really like tummy time. After about 3 minutes she typically starts crying....
