To make up for forgetting to post January pictures, here's a video from tonight at dinner.
Funny how slinging food all over the place is cute, when it's your kid.... :)

Oops...
Thanks to Pop who pointed out that I forgot to put up the January pictures. I can't get to the individual ones right now to put up a proper blog posting (they are on the other computer which is at school with Brian at the moment). But I can post a link to them in Picasa....so here goes.
And by the way, the countdown is on...What countdown you ask? The countdown to MAISIE'S FIRST BIRTHDAY, of course!
42 days to go....

Visiting the GGs
Maisie took her first plane flight last weekend. We all took a trip to Florida to visit her GGs and her 3G (that is her great-grandparents and her 98 year old great-great-grandmother). Even her veteran traveler parents were a little worried about 2 1/2 hours on a regional jet with a 10 month old in their laps !!
We thought our worst fears were realized when we had a 1/2 hour delay while already on the plane on the way out and an 1 1/2 hour delay in the airport on the way back. But as we hoped, Maisie was a trooper. She slept for about 45 min on each leg and then we kept her busy with a bag full of toys, cheerios, and those wonderful in-flight magazines (so fun to rip to pieces!!).
If you can't tell, Maisie's great-grandparents were beyond thrilled to see her:
5 generations (missing her Nanna):
Maisie also got to go swimming in Florida...and she LOVED it. She didn't even mind when dad dunked her under the water:
The rest of the Florida pictures (and other REALLY cute pictures from this month are available here):

Getting girly
Well I came home from work the other day, and I was greeted by possibly the cutest thing ever...My daughter with bows in her hair. Yes, she finally has enough hair to support all those adorable little bows. And her nanny, Miriam, loves to play with her hair and get her looking girly! Here are a few pictures for proof:
