Getting picky
As you all know, Maisie has never been shy about making her opinion known. And now that extends to her wardrobe. Today she was insistant about what she wanted to wear - despite the fact that mom was planning to return the shirt for a larger size. And then we re-discovered the sparkly red shoes we got over the holidays which now fit (thanks aunt barbara!) . Combine that with bed head from a long nap and the result is a bit comedic....

Chopsticks
Some of you know Brian is in Asia for work this week (China and Singpore). Well, while he was gone, Maisie decided she needed to show him how it was done. Here she is using chopsticks to eat seaweed salad. I must say, she is much better at it than I am, and I've had practice. Impressive.

Big Girl
Maisie is only 6 weeks away from turning 2 years old and she's already such a big girl! She certainly has definite opinions (about what to wear, what she wants to do) and is becoming capable of so many things....

Daddy's little girl - again
Maisie loves hanging out with her daddy. She is so excited when he comes home from a business trip - running to the door, arms up for a hug. She also loves rough-housing with him and riding on his shoulders. Here are a few great recent pics:
